My bed arrived today, except it’s not really a bed. It’s more like a stand for your mattress. That headboard in the picture is not included with this order. If you want to add the headboard you should realize that those nightstands are attached, making the whole thing 112″ wide. The “wood” also has dings and chips, so you’ll need a touch up pen right off the bat.

Love this bed! It took a little bit of time to put it together, but it is very sturdy. I ordered the headboard with it, but I think you need extra bolts to attach it. I have it sitting up against it just fine. The only negatives with this are minor:
1. I hit the corner of the platform bed almost every morning the first week I had it (the top corners at the foot of the bed) and they are SHARP! Now, I’m more caerful with my step, but it will give you bruises – they are sharp and pointy.
2. I have an inch or so gap around the mattress on top of the platform and you see the light brown material. I’m going to paint it black to match the finish though.
3. Squeaky! I rolled in over in the bed a bit forcefully and the platform squeaked loudly. Not the same “oh it’s going to break!” squeaky as the bed is VERY sturdy, but it’s not the most discreet bed for certain activities.
4. I have a deep corner Queen mattress and there’s a gap between the headboard and the matress and my pillows sometimes fall through that gap. I’ve gotten a thicker, longer, body pillow to stuff down in the gap to keep my pillows on the bed!
Other than that, excellent bed and headboard! Would have given 5 stars if not for those minor issues.
